Tent & RV Sites

  • Our sites are located along the river's bank and we have facilities for primitive, water & electric, and full hookup (water, electric and sewer) camping.
  • We do not have 50 amps electrical hookup.
  • There is a game room and a bathhouse that includes hot water showers, flushing toilets, and electricity.
  • Pets are permitted in the RV and tent areas as long as they remain on leashes and you clean up after them.
  • All rates are for up to 2 adults and 2 children. Each additional person will be an extra $3 per night.
  • Only one vehicle per site; additional vehicles will be charged an extra $3 per night.
  • Cable is available on some sites at an additional $1.50 per day.
  • Wireless Internet access is available for $3 per day. Please contact the front office for password and login information.
  • Please call for monthly or group rates.
  • There is a THREE (3) NIGHT MINIMUM required on all holidays.

Cabin Rentals

  • The rustic cabins are fully equipped and furnished, including cable TV, kitchenettes, and bathrooms, however bed and bath linens are not provided.
  • Cabin check-out time is 11:00am, and check-in time is 3:00pm.
  • There is a two (2) night minimum stay for all cabins. There is a THREE (3) NIGHT MINIMUM required on all holidays.
  • Full payment must be received in advance, within 20 days of arrival date. A $50 refundable security deposit is also required upon check-in.
  • The cabin rental rates are for up to 2 people; each additional person will be charged an extra $5 per night.
  • Cabin Pet Policy: limited availability; only one (1) small pet allowed when pre-arranged with reservations; a non-refundable $25 pet fee will be charged.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Weekly rates on cabins REQUIRE that one full weekend (Friday through Sunday) be included in the stay. There will be NO Saturday check-ins or check-outs when using the weekly cabin rate.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

  • Advance reservations are not required but are suggested, especially for June, October, and all holidays.
  • There is a THREE (3) NIGHT MINIMUM required on all holidays.
  • To confirm reservations, a deposit for the first night for a campsite, or first two (2) nights for a cabin is required.
  • For cabin rentals, the full balance of the reservation is due within twenty (20) days of the arrival date. 
  • Cancellation of reservations requires a ten (10) day advance notice for a campsite and a twenty (20) day notice for a cabin.
  • Campers in compliance with the cancellation policy can receive a refund of their deposit.
  • Reservations made within 10 days of arrival for a campsite and 20 days of arrival for a cabin are NOT subject to refunds.

 

Make a Reservation

FBRC is pleased to offer our guests this opportunity to make on-line reservation requests for campsites. Please remember that this is strictly a Reservation Request Form. You do not have an actual reservation until it has been confirmed, and a reservation can not be confirmed until your deposit has been processed and authorized. If you need to confirm your reservation immediately or would like to make a reservation for an arrival in less than 48 hours, please call us during normal business hours.

Because we do not yet have secure credit card encryption for reservations, all reservations made online must be confirmed via email or phone. Please call the campground at 828-658-0772 or send an email to reservations@ncrivercamping.com in order to provide your credit card information for the deposit. For your convenience, we accept Discover, Visa and MasterCard. We also accept checks and money orders as long as they are recieved within the time frame mentioned in our policies (above); we do not accept checks on the day of your arrival. We are sorry for this inconvience and hope to remedy it in the future, but for now we hope that you will apprecite our concern for the security of your credit card information.

We will also e-mail you to notify you if space is available. For this reason, it is necessary for you to include a valid e-mail address with all reservation requests.
